An unsuspecting Nick was a recent recipient of one of our design and build projects. Nick is a foodie who loves Italian and Mexican. Our customer (his benefactor) came to us with a desire to create a product specifically personalized for Nick.
After some trading of ideas, we settled on a bird feeder / food truck; we called it the Mexitalia.
One side of the truck has a Mexican theme, featuring a colorful bird and cactus image on the truck door, a Mexican bird/chef on the top signage and a blackboard that offers Tacos as Today’s Special.
The opposite side of the truck has an Italian theme, featuring an Italian Street Food image on the truck door, an Italian bird/chef on the top signage and a blackboard that offers Anchovy Pizza as a Friday Special.
Of course, birds more prefer to have seed for feed. The back of the truck lifts up to allow refills of seed trays contained within. The birds access the trays from hooded perches on each side of the truck.
Some of the features of this feeder include; construction from Cypress wood for longer life in the outdoor environment, two feed tray options (screened and open), hand painted feeder including door and chef images, personalized CNC hand painted engravings (Yaeger’s Top sign, blackboards, Mexitalia and Food Truck signs, Nick’s Rolling Diner sign, and NCKYGR license plates), magnetic catches for the rear door lift, custom wooden hinges with brass pivot pins, 3D (wheels, bumpers, headlights, tail lights and fenders).
